One of the best restaurants in Greece! Just the opposite of the fish market and facing the sea this typical Greek taverna is a real jewel! Each dish I tried over the last few days was simply wonderful. The freshest and the most delicious fish, especially the seabass, best sardines I ever tasted, fantastic mussels and all the appetizers. The service is also remarkable. I’m truly impressed!

Bounoulina tavern location is on the new port by the fresh fish market. At a first glance you consider that food is for tourists but our today visit proved our impression wrong. Honest food, proper portions and service adequate.

Food was spectacular. I got the fried courgettes and french fries, and fried squids on the side. Portion are quite big and I was full by the end of it. Service was quick as well. I highly recommend this place. Just note that if you go in group, you cannot split the bill (which still, was not an issue for us).

Best Moussaka I've had in Greece! The prices are adequate and the service is fast. If you are searching for a local Greek cuisine restaurant, you have to try this one!

We all enjoyed our meal here. The sea bass was delicious- cooked to perfection and well seasoned. This meal was a memorable one during our time in Greece. Family members also highly enjoyed their meal here.

Best seafood and fish restaurant in Spetses, especially for variety and reasonable pricing. I had the sardines which were delicious. They were grilled and so salted and a lemonade, garlic olive oil oil base so delicious. The halloumi was great, the grilled squid was also delicious and the best of all was that Michael the co-owner is from Long Island.

Gorgeous little restaurant right on the beachfront. Unpretentious and authentic with delicious local food. We went 4 times during our 3 day trip. The dishes we enjoyed most were: fried calamari; fava beans, octopus with vinegar and oil and fried shrimps. Reasonably priced with kind, down to earth staff. Highly recommend!

Last night, while searching for a recommended restaurant, we stumbled upon Bouboulina Restaurant, just a short walk from the port. The place was absolutely packed — always a good sign — so we decided to give it a try. What a great decision!
The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. We ordered:
• Red snapper
• Swordfish
• Roasted peppers
• Calamari
• Traditional Greek salad
We also enjoyed a bottle of chilled white wine and water. Everything was perfectly prepared and served with a smile. The atmosphere was vibrant, authentically Greek, and very welcoming.
The total bill for three people came to €115, which we found to be excellent value for the quality and freshness of the food.

Excellent restaurant offering extremely fresh seafood. Ordered the taramasalata and the grilled sea bass. The seabass was very well seasoned, nicely grilled and tasted juicy. The fish was just a tad rare in the middle, but I wish it was more so considering the freshness! Would definitely return.

I loved the place and if I were staying longer in Spetses, I would definitely come back again! They made me feel so welcome and recommended a very delicious ‘shi drum fillet’. It was the first time I taste this fish and it was amazing and the fries were so crunchy! I also ordered a tomato and cucumber salad; the lemon & olive oil dressing was divine! 😍
